Coney Island Cyclone Soccer Club is against discrimination of any form and will tolerate any expression of it by parties involved(coaches,players, club officials , game officials)
Coney Island Cyclone Soccer Club rejects the use of violence of any nature by anyone involved in the game.
Coney Island Cyclone Soccer Club will uphold a relationship of trust and respect between all involved in the game, whether they are individuals, clubs or other organizations.
Code of Conduct for Players
A player is obliged to:
Be accountable in one’s attendance for practices and games or give satisfactory notice of absence.
Respect and comply with the Laws of the Game and competition rules
Possess commitment to games and practices.
Make every effort to develop one’s own sporting abilities in lieu with skills, tactics, technique, and stamina.
Ensure that the required and appropriate sporting equipment is worn when playing football.
Not use inappropriate language.
Be a positive example for other players, younger players, and supporters.
Treat opponents with respect at all times regardless of the results of the game.
Avoid violence and rough play, and help injured opponents. Safeguard the physical fitness of opponents.
Accept the decision of the Match Official without protest and conflict by avoiding inappropriate words or actions.
Show due respect towards Match Officials.
Code of Conduct for Trainers
A trainer is obliged to:
Develop an appropriate working relationship with each player based on mutual trust and respect.
Follow all guidelines laid down by governing bodies.
Respect the rights, dignity, and worth of each and every person and treat each equally within the context of the sport and never use inappropriate language towards one’s own players, team and match officials, opponents, and other involved experts.
Ensure the well-being and safety of each player above all other considerations, including the game or practice performance.
Inspire and guide players that they should admit responsibility for their own behavior and performance.
Ensure that the activities they direct or advocate are appropriate for the age, maturity, experience and ability of players.Promote the positive aspects of the sport at all times (e.g. fair play) and never condone violations of the Laws of the Game, behavior contrary to the spirit of the Laws of the Game or relevant rules and regulations or the use of prohibited substances or techniques.Always deliver the training session to the highest standard and to the best of one’s own ability. Ensure all equipment is in full working order (including a First Aid Kit).
Coney Island Cyclone Soccer Club Code of Conduct for Parents and Supporters
Parents and supporters of football players should:
Encourage a child and other participants in football to comply with the rules and emphasize sportsmanship before winning.
Elaborate players’ code of conduct to your children and encourage them to follow it.
Inspire your child to play fairly and to the best of his/her ability and, when he/she does so, provide praise and encouragement irrespective of the outcomes.
Encourage your child to respect his/her teammates, trainers, team manager, referees, and opponents.
Cheer for your child, however, avoiding to criticize them for not achieving certain results or making a mistake.
Accept the decisions of the Match Official and showing any kind of protest.
Accept the decisions of trainers, referees, or opponents during games and in the presence of your child or other children (constructive criticism can be directed towards your trainer in private).
Remember to complete and update (as necessary) player’s medical information sheet.
Give adequate notices of absence to trainers or manager.
